Football is a sport that has been the most watched in the past years. People often make the mistake of thinking that American football is similar to soccer. Two teams each with 11 players compete in the American Football. The goal of the sport is to carry or throw the ball or more commonly known as the pigskin to the goal. The popularity of sport has produced many teams both in the high schools and colleges as well as private teams as well. The most known league for American football is the National football league. Of the teams in the league, the Miami Dolphins is one of the more popular. The Miami Dolphins is a team from Miami Florida and was the first professional franchise in the state. The demand for the Dolphins tickets was enormous because Miami is the ideal location for a team because of the great weather and the increasing population in the area.

The team has made their mark early in the game. In 1972 they have won their first Super Bowl Championship. Their second win cam the following year. The 70's was the golden era for the Dolphins. Each Dolphins ticket holders were treated to great games that decade. The team have been part of the playoff's for most of the decade and followed by other 15 playoff's appearances. Three Conference Championships and five Division Championships were won by the team in that decade alone.


The team has been performing well in the past years. The sales the Dolphin tickets have been experiencing are a proof of the desire of the masses to catch the team in action. The team is preparing to make the much awaited comeback to relieve the golden days in the early years of the team

The home of the team is in the Sun Life Stadium located in the Miami Gardens. The location of the stadium is easily accessible to the fans that eagerly wait in line to get their hands on the tickets to the games of the team. The team had very notable mascots in the past. T. D. is the name of the seven foot mascot of the team. An unofficial mascot of the team was Denny Sym. This man armed with his glittering orange and aqua hat lead the crowd to cheer for the team. His last performance for the team was in 2000. Flipper was an early favorite mascot of the team. Flipper was a live dolphin that was kept in the stadium for two years before being removed to save on costs.

The team has made an impact on the American Football scene as well as on the hearts of the people. The team would continue to be patronized and supported by their fans for the years to come.
